Essam Moustafa

Founder and Managing Director

Essam Moustafa is a Supreme Court Attorney at Law with more than 30 years of experience. He started his career in a leading Egyptian maritime law firm where he acted as a correspondent for some of the world’s leading P&I clubs including the UK P&I Club, London P&I Club, and the Swedish Club.

In 1999, Mr. Moustafa started his law firm and since then he gained extensive experience in different areas of the law. His practice covers a full range of admiralty work including general average, collisions, salvage, groundings, charter party, bills of lading, shipbuilding, and cargo disputes. The firm also has a history of filing and winning some of Egypt’s landmark maritime pollution lawsuits.

In addition to his shipping expertise, Essam’s practice extends to include matters related to real estate, civil, commercial and family law. He acted in cases that have reached the Appellate Court in Egypt and The Egyptian Court of Cassation (i.e. The Highest Court in Egypt).

Essam obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) in 1989, and was admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association in the same year.
